A presentation about the LitterDrone project by Fernando Martín, coordinator of the project and researcher at the Image Processing Group (GPI) from the University of Vigo, took place the past 26th of May at the 2nd edition of the Drone International Congress in Ourense.
During the presentation, attended by researchers, professionals and company representatives with an interest in the application of drones for their work, the basis and objectives of the project were explained, as well as the tasks performed so far and the potential of the drone technology coupled with computer vision being developed, for its future application in the field of remote environmental monitoring and others.
